first tycho film shoot complete

Filming has wrapped for Tycho Brahe's first ever music video, Don't Feel That Way off Atlantic. The footage has been sent off to be edited and the final clip should be finished in a few weeks.

The video was shot by local director Scot McPhie, with choreography by Claire Marshall. Ken tells us the clip features two gyrating robo-vixens in huge boots that would put Kiss to shame!

happy birthday max

From Ken, on the email list:

A belated birthday notice - my faithful little recording companion Max The Studio Cat turned 16 on July 31. He's getting on a bit, and unfortunately has gone completely blind over the last year due to detached retinas.....but he *still* knows his way around a Juno 106....

For anyone who doesn't know, Max is responsible for the eyes and the purring on Tasty. He's also Ken's litmus test for good music: I know if Max walks out, it's crap...

So happy birthday, Max!
